it's cold. -28 C windchill when I got up this morning.





yesterday the kids had a day off so I went picture-taking.


when I came home I thawed out in front of the fire, practiced some statistics and watched crocodile dundee. then I checked my e-mail and found a message from the university of western sydney offering me a full scholarship to pursue my ph.d there.


it's not -28 in sydney...
