I have a new addition for my most despised food list: the barium milkshake.


I went for an upper GI today. apart from the bit where I had to force down an assortment of liquids that tasted sort-of-but-not-quite like sierra mist with too much fizz, marshmallow sauce and watery marshmallow milk, it was quite interesting. the x-ray table moved from standing to lying down position with me on it! and I saw my insides on a computer screen! how COOL is that?


so there's nothing wrong with my stomach. the pains are caused by little x-ray proof gnomes having a wander around my abdominal cavity, evidently.
