I have a research proposal that I'm attempting to shorten against its will. When I finished writing at lunchtime it was 4.5 pages long, and I spent the afternoon revising it. Condensed the language; shrunk the margins. Two paragraphs I took out completely.

It's still 4.5 pages long.

And I've lost a reference. I can picture right where the sentence was on the lower left-hand side of the page. Too bad I can't picture the authors' names or the title.

Also, I had a whole lot of milk and a giant can of peaches for dinner and now my kidneys may rupture before my housemate gets out of the shower.

Still loving it, though. Not the kidneys. But the rest of it.
