This brother...


The baby who was scared of the bathtub. The kid who I was supposed to run around before school every day so he could sit still when he got to class. The punk who put crayon on his newly painted bedroom walls, silly putty in my hair, dish-washing soap in the dishwasher and a football through the living room window.

He was digging into bacon and eggs, all dressed up for his second day of work. He just had time for a quick word with his sister in Australia before heading off to start his day. My brother the engineer.
